Everglades Adventure
Everglades Adventure is an educational mobile game which encourages the restoration and preservation of the Everglades National Park in Florida, made in partnership between Miami Dade College and Everglades National Park. I was the project lead for the project, as well as one of its level designers, programmers, and UI/UX designers.
Be a park ranger!
Within Everglades Adventure, you play as a park ranger whose sole purpose is to restore the Everglades! As you go around the national park, you do several tasks that a real park ranger might do: picking up trash, fixing broken cameras, or freeing animals caught in nets.
Ride your kayak!
If walking is too slow, then try using your kayak! But first you'll have to get your paddle over by the observation tower. Hopefully no alligators are blocking the way.
Read the tutorial messages!
While you play through the game, you'll get several tutorial messages popping up at the top of your screen! Pay attention to these as they teach you how to play the game and tell you where to go next!

Or just ignore and tap on them to make them go away...
Also watch out for snails!
This is an apple island snail! It's a gastropods native to the Everglades that can be found all over! They're a sign of a healthy Everglades so it's always good to see them sliming around!
